Ballina Lakeside is located in a secluded spot within Ballina, in the Far North Coast of NSW. We are positioned right on the beautiful Shaws Bay Lake and within a short stroll of beautiful beaches and the Richmond River.

Driving Directions to Ballina Lakeside

From the North

  • Follow Pacific Hwy and take Cumbalum/Hambly Lane exit
  • At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Tamarind Drive
  • Continue onto Bangalow Road
  • Take a slight right onto Cherry Street
  • At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Bentinck Street
  • At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Hill Street and go over the bridge
  • Turn right onto Compton Drive, East Ballina
  • Turn right onto Fenwick Drive, East Ballina
  • Arrive at 25 Fenwick Drive, East Ballina

From the South

  • Follow Pacific Hwy towards Ballina
  • At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto River Street, West Ballina
  • Continue along River Street to Kingsford Smith Drive, after Ballina Town Centre
  • At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Hill Street and go over the bridge
  • Turn right onto Compton Drive, East Ballina
  • Turn right onto Fenwick Drive, East Ballina
  • Arrive at 25 Fenwick Drive, East Ballina

Airports/Flight Information

Ballina has a modern airport located just 5kms from the CBD which offers direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle through several carriers.

  • JetStar – daily jet services between Ballina and Sydney and 3-4 flights to Melbourne weekly.
  • Virgin Blue – daily jet services between Ballina and Sydney.
  • Regional Express (REX) – multiple daily flights between Ballina and Sydney and daily to Newcastle.

There is car and campervan hire available from Ballina/Byron Airport.

The Gold Coast Airport is an easy 60 minute drive away and offers a wide range of both domestic and international flights.
